The topic of "going out and wearing clothes during the epidemic" has become a hot topic of discussion during this special period. So what kind of clothes should I wear when I go out?
Speaking of this issue, we need to look at it scientifically and rationally. In fact, clothes of any kind may be contaminated by the "new coronavirus". In daily life, the main route of infection of the new coronavirus is the droplets emitted when the infected person coughs or sneezes. When these droplets contaminate the clothes, they may increase the risk of infection (the risk is small).
In fact, whether we are sitting on the sofa or leaning against the door, it is possible that the virus contaminated on these objects may be stained on our clothes. At the same time, the static electricity on the clothes may also remove impurities and dust in the air and environment. When substances are adsorbed on our clothes, these adsorbents may be adulterated with viruses. In other words, the clothes that are more likely to generate static electricity, the more viruses that may be contaminated on the body, such as nylon fabrics, chemical fiber fabrics and other materials that are easy to generate static electricity.

In other words, it cannot be said that "a certain kind of clothing will not be contaminated with viruses", but all clothes that are prone to static electricity and are difficult to thoroughly disinfect are easily contaminated with viruses, increasing the risk of infection.
Smooth clothes are more likely to survive viruses (cotton sweaters are not more likely to accumulate viruses):
In fact, the virus does not last long on clothes. Generally, after the "new coronavirus" exists in the air for two hours, its infectious ability has declined, although it can survive for several hours or days; in contrast, the virus is easier to survive in smooth places; the reason It is the virus itself that needs a certain amount of water to maintain its structure, and on a smooth and non-porous surface, water molecules can be better maintained, and the porous surface will "drain" the virus and reduce the virus' infective activity.
Therefore, from a theoretical point of view, wearing leather, patent leather and other smooth-surfaced clothes will increase the risk of infection, while wearing cotton-wool clothes will be safer.

Of course, don’t panic:
Even if your clothes are contaminated with the virus, you don’t have to worry too much. The survival time of the virus after leaving the living body is relatively short, and you lack certain infection conditions. It does not mean that you will be infected if it falls on your clothes.
dress and undress, some things need to be "watchful":
After going out and returning home, it is recommended that you put the clothes you have taken off outside the door or window, open the windows for ventilation, and reduce the concentration of harmful substances such as viruses.
No matter what kind of clothes you are wearing, you must wear a mask when you go out. You should not touch the inner and outer surfaces of the mask with your hands during the process of wearing the mask and taking off the mask. Complete all the actions through the mask rope. Put the removed mask in a closed, hygienic bag and keep it closed.
Wash your hands promptly when you get home, rub your hands with soap or hand sanitizer, and rinse with running water.
You can use medical alcohol to disinfect clothes, but pay attention to "safe operation", avoid fire sources, and pay attention to the concentration of indoor alcohol.
In special times, everything must be "attended"; wearing clothes and hats is very basic, and it is safer to pay attention to it properly. Reject rumors, treat them objectively, and don't bring troubles to life because of your ignorance.
